Colored Laptops Take the World by Storm?

Computers are one of the greatest additions to the way man works and accomplishes tasks in the 20th century and beyond. In the last 50 years, we have seen computers transition from the bulky equipment that used to be stored in the department of defense sites and huge research facilities. Today personal computers have become a way of life not only for many offices but homes as well. But nothing has revolutionized computers more than the fact that they have become smaller and more convenient to carry. Laptops have been the result of an industry striving to make working life even better. One in every 10 households now in the US has a laptop. So why have laptops become so popular?
One of these innovations that have revolutionized the way the world works and lives is the fact that they have become much smaller and easier carry. Smaller computers, namely laptops, have resulted in a more efficient work ethic for many and have transformed life as we know it. Many countries now such as the US and EU nations have at least one laptop for every 10 households. But why have laptops become so popular?
Another reason why laptops have become increasingly popular is because they have now transitioned from being just work centers to media centers. This means that they are no longer simply used for working but also for entertainment. People who are on the road can also watch high resolution DVDs, listen to music and even share and edit them. That has become the reason why laptop buyers have become younger.
Laptops are now media centers other than just workstations. This has added another dimension to their use meaning they can now be used for entertainment purposes other than just work. Now one watch high resolution DVD/Blue-Ray movies, listen to digital music and even share and edit files while on the move. This fact alone has attracted a vast army of younger laptop buyers and from here, colored laptops evolved.
The colored laptop market has become increasingly exotic. Companies like Dell have been allowing their buyers to customize their purchases right from their site and buyers can select from different colors other than just the component specification. Other makers like Alienware also allow buyers to order colored laptops. Strictly speaking, ordering custom additional features while buying computers is not an entirely new concept but ordering different colored computers is a new concept.
The colored laptop market has become increasingly flexible with many companies allowing their buyers to customize their purchases right from their websites. This has resulted in buyers being able to select from different colors other than just a few. Many other manufacturers accommodate orders for colored laptops. While the concept of customization is not entirely as new as we would imagine, ordering computers with different color schemes is a new concept. Different users of laptops have different preferences and these can extend to color. Color even speaks of personality and we can see this especially in ladies who gravitate towards all things pink. Cell phone manufactures awoke to this fact and have been producing color- specific phones for years but now laptop makers have also switched their mode and recognized that color preferences do matter.
